Stained Concrete Countertops

Cut letters to a word or phrase out of contact paper, then adhere it to the canvas for a two-toned masterpiece. Design a pixelated pattern by creating a grid of colors that are the same hue.
Below a blue shade was rag-rolled on a Baltic green and everything finished with an antique glaze using a sponge. Another preferred faux painting technique is the ragging. After having painted the wall in your color of choice use a rag and press it on to form a specific pattern and texture.
You can use the rag to create a more uniform effect by rolling it onto the painted wall. You can even add a different shade of paint onto the rag and thus create depth and layers.
Glue them on the plywood to create the brick pattern than apply paint in red and brown shades. Know you can use this created stamp to “brick” your walls. Brighten your walls with art that inspires you. Paint vibrant colors on a canvas, then add a simple image and phrase using black paint.
Faux painting bricks seem a tad extreme but can be considered a faux painting technique. In this case you have to create a stamp for the walls using a piece of plywood and synthetic sponges.
Add stylish decor to your bedroom or dining room with a colorful herringbone canvas. Create this piece in just a couple of hours with acrylic paint, sponges and painter’s tape. Paint your canvas a solid color, like red or blue, then brush metallic paint on half of the canvas to create stylish, modern art. Paint the surface of a blank canvas with watercolor or acrylic paints.

Draw equal-sized squares across the surface of your canvas, then paint each square a slightly different tone. Your professional-looking painting can be hung in a living room, bedroom or office. I simply painted the sealer along the grout lines, going back after every few rows and using a dry cloth to wipe off any sealer that had gotten onto the tile. The sponge should be just barely damp at this point.
If you want wall ideas that look professional, consider painting a canvas in a contemporary design. Use bright colors, like orange or red, to make the wall piece pop. Involve the kids in a fun DIY canvas project on a rainy day or Saturday morning. Pull out a range of colored paints to form patterns of circles, stripes, and polka dots.
Wring out as much water as possible and then lightly buff the tiles in a circular motion. Then clean the sponge and repeat until the haze has been removed. We entered the room in socks and were careful not to step on any of the grout lines. We then used a sponge with a clean bucket of water to buff out the tiles in a circular motion.
